The cast of "Drop Dead Diva" is back on-set and shooting Season 3. And they've got a few extra divas stopping by.
As Zap2it first reported, "Live To Dance's" PAULA ABDUL will appear in the Season 3 premiere. Now, Lifetime announces that country singer LeAnn Rimes and talk show host and new "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, Wendy Williams, will appear in the episode, as well.
Last time ABDUL was on-set, executive producer Josh Berman told us exclusively that she shot a provocative scene that will potentially open next season's premiere episode. She'll be in bed with Jane (played by Brooke Elliot) and Fred (Ben Feldman). ABDUL reprises her role as Jane's "voice of reason" and will be advising her on her relationship with Grayson (Jackson Hurst).
Rimes will play the soon-to-be-ex-wife of Jane's client, a hard-partying celebrity being tried for hit-and-run. And Williams plays a judge and we assume she'll be showing off her new dancing skills when she joins a musical dream sequence choreographed by "So You Think You Can Dance's" Keith "Tyce" Diorio.
Season 3 premieres this summer.
